| Chair's report, 2010 The first year of our new committee has been a rewarding and successful one and I thank everyone who has contributed to our work over the past twelve months. Our major project has been to finalise a bid for funding for a new play area at Hedleyhill Terrace. A new updated consultation with children and families confirmed the current proposals and I can reveal our bid for funding has been successful. The play equipment is due to be installed by the end of the calendar year. Smaller projects are ongoing and further news concerning these will appear in The Waterhouses Wanderings. We are an active committee of volunteers who would welcome anyone to join us, either on a regular basis or on an occasional visit. Please contact any member of the committee if you are interested.
